Doel van Stichting M4A is klassieke muziek toegankelijk maken voor een breed en vooral jeugdig publiek.

Onze bestuurssamenstelling

Het eerste bestuur van de stichting bestaat volgens de oprichtingsakte uit drie bestuurders. Zie het uittreksel van de Kamer van Koophandel. Sinds eind vorig jaar is het bestuur uitgebreid met een bestuurslid. Deze zal z.s.m. nog worden aangemeld bij de KvK. Zie verder het geactualiseerde beleidsplan d.d. 29 juni 2025.

Beleidsplan

Music 4 All (M4A) is a new musical collective. The instrumentalists and singers involved will be among the most outstanding musicians in Europe.
Everyone involved with in M4A is totally committed to bringing classical music from ALL periods to audiences in a totally new way. Gone will be the old, out-dated concert times and clothes, and the terrible disconnect between public and musicians.
It is crucial that classical music be provided and presented to ALL age-groups in an intelligent, interesting and interactive way.
Concerts will be given at times when both parents AND children can attend. Ticket pricing will strongly encourage families to attend as a whole.
The 60-75 minute programmes will be given without interval, and will be both educational and interactive. Each programme will have a fundamental question as an idea and theme, which will be explored during the concert.
Music within each programme will be hugely diverse, and include works from many different centuries and from all parts of the ‘classical cultural’ world.
The performers will not wear a concert ‘uniform’. The audience will not be seated apart from the performers, but both around and ‘mixed-in’ with the musicians for a fully immersive and interactive experience, with children placed close to the performing action.
At every possible point in the performance the performers will interact with the public, introducing and explaining crucial musical ideas. The audience will also be encouraged to interact by being given permission to make noise from the outset of and also during the performance. They can also ask questions during the concert whenever they feel it appropriate.
Concert performances will be given by Music Party Amsterdam (MPA) & Duo Pleyel (DP). It will be made clear at all performances that individuals from MPA and DP will be happy to give master classes and private coaching to anyone inspired through attendance at the concerts.
This unique approach is designed to make classical music alive again and be relevant and exciting to everyone, particularly families. The only sure future for classical music is to excite not just parents, but most importantly children, by making it both huge fun and totally educational.

Ons beloningsbeleid

Aan de bestuurders van Stichting M4A kan geen beloning worden toegekend, doch kan wel een niet bovenmatig vacatiegeld worden toegekend. Kosten worden aan de bestuurders alleen op vertoon van de bewijsstukken vergoed. Zie de oprichtingsakte van de stichting (artikel 7, vijfde lid). Tot op heden is door het bestuur aan geen van de bestuursleden en beide directeuren een beloning of kostenvergoeding toegekend.

Onze uitgeoefende activiteiten (per jaar)

2024

M4A is voornemens om vanaf het concertseizoen 2024-2025 viermaal per jaar een muzikale uitvoering te verzorgen op een nader te bepalen locatie. M4A wil juni 2024 van start gaan met een gala openingsconcert voor belangstellenden en genodigden (leden raad van advies en mogelijke sponsors). Het openingsconcert van M4A, dat uiteindelijk zou plaatsvinden op 11 november 2024 (Sint Maarten), moest worden uitgesteld door onvoldoende belangstelling. Dit concert is nu voorzien in de loop van seizoen 2025/2026 plaats te vinden. Zie verder het geactualiseerde beleidsplan van M4A d.d. 29 juni 2025.

Financiële verantwoording (per jaar)

2024

De stichting M4A is opgericht op 22 november 2023. Het eerste (lange) boekjaar van de stichting eindigt op 31 december 2024. Inmiddels is het eerste financiële verslag van M4A onlangs vastgesteld door het bestuur van de Stichting. Dankzij een tweetal donateurs beschikt de Stichting over voldoende middelen om in het jaar 2025 aan al haar terugkerende verplichtingen te kunnen voldoen. Het financieel verslag omvat 2 pagina's (zie beide bijlagen).
